About the Role 

We’re looking for an energised and entrepreneurial Director of People to define and lead our client's global people strategy as they scale their team across the UK and US. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll drive innovation in how they attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent.

Central to this role is the strategic use of technology and AI to reimagine HR operations, enhance talent management, and elevate the employee experience - driving both efficiency and scalable growth. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of a mission-driven company, offering the opportunity to influence its strategic direction from within.

Candidate Profile

What we are looking for:
➢ Proven experience in a senior HR, People, or Talent leadership role, ideally in a high-growth tech company.
➢ A strong interest / Demonstrable ability in implementing and optimising AI or automation tools within HR and people functions.
➢ Track record of building and scaling people operations across geographies, particularly the UK and US.
➢ Deep understanding of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices in the UK and US.
➢ Experience designing and rolling out compensation, performance, and engagement frameworks.
➢ Proven strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and foster a high-trust culture.

Role location: Hybrid working - It would be beneficial for the successful candidate to be located in London. In-person office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays but the office is open all week if you prefer more time in the office.
